Saint Vincent Hospital does not validate parking tickets. Parking lot rates (subject to change by the Erie Parking Authority) begin at $2 for one hour. The daily maximum for parking is $10.
Valet parking is available 24 hours a day at the Emergency Department entrance for $10.
A flat parking lot is located on Sassafras Street by Saint Joseph’s Church. Parking lot rates (subject to change) begin at $2 for the first hour, with a daily maximum of $6. There is a special patient/visitor rate: Pay $6 at entry, valid until midnight with unlimited in/out privileges.
Use care when parking on streets near the hospital. Pay close attention to signs posted.

We’re committed to ensuring the security of all of our patients. Most entrances to Saint Vincent are opened at 5:00 AM and locked at 8:00 PM, with the exception of the Emergency Department entrance on West 24th St., which remains open 24 hours a day.
The staff at the information desk inside our main lobby on Myrtle Street is happy to help you locate a patient or a visitor between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM daily. If you need a patient’s room number, a map to find a particular area, or a listing of area hotels/motels and restaurants, they can assist you.
Generally, the visiting hours at Saint Vincent are open-ended when entrances are unlocked. Some specialty units may have restrictions, however. We ask you to keep the patient’s best interest in mind. Before visiting, you may want to call our information desk at (814) 452-5800 to determine if the unit you plan to visit has any visiting hour restrictions.

We realize that the hospital environment can be tough on youngsters. Give your kids a break in our Austin’s Playroom.
This child-centered spot, with toys and games, is for children age 3 to 12, when accompanied by an adult. It’s on the main floor. Follow signs to the cafeteria.

Visitors to Saint Vincent have several options for meals, including:
Hospital Dining Room: Saint Vincent has a large dining room, with family members and visitors welcome to have meals and snacks there. Please ask about the current hours. Listen to the daily menu by calling extension 5623 on your hospital phone.
Hospital Café: Café 905, located in the main lobby of the hospital, sells specialty coffees, teas and gourmet snacks from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Vending Machines: Vending machines can be found in the courtyard lobby, in the Emergency Department waiting area and near the entrance to the dining room.

Telephones are located in the waiting area on most patient floors, as well as in hospital lobbies.
For your convenience, an ATM is located in the main lobby of the hospital and in the Emergency Department lobby.
The Saint Vincent Inspired Gift Shop is well-stocked with sundries, magazines, paperback books, flowers and a variety of gifts for all ages. The Inspired Gift Shop is a project of the Saint Vincent Foundation, with proceeds benefiting patient services and the hospital.
The Inspired Gift Shop is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday and closed on holidays.
